1.      Download Ibotta!

Just simply search for Ibotta in your device’s app store and download it, it’s free and easy!

2.      Set up your account

3.      Adding offers

Once you are all set up you will be on your home screen and able to check out all the different stores and offers that you can claim. To start adding these offers to your list simply select the store you would like to add offers to, then select how you want to shop at that location. This is usually either in-store, online, or some have the option of buying gift cards. Once you have decided which shopping method you can then go in and browse all of the rebates that location has to offer. To add them to your list simply click the plus sign on the bottom right corner of the item.

4.      How to get cash back: Redeem Receipts

Note that some stores have several options on how you can get your cash back. You can submit a photo of your receipt or connect your store account to Ibotta, and the cash back automatically applies when you finish checking out. Some stores have one, or both options for earning cash back. If you are submitting a photo of your receipt be sure to have added all of your offers before submitting your receipt.

5.      How to get cash back: Bonuses

Another way to earn cash back is through Ibotta’s bonuses section. You can navigate to this section of the app by clicking Bonuses on the bottom of the screen. From here you can see featured, for you, and completed bonuses. These bonuses are often timed challenges for redeeming X amount of offers before the bonus expires. Bonuses are tracked automatically as you redeem qualifying offers for that bonus.

6.      How to actually get your cash back

Ibotta has a minimum of $20 to be able to cash out your earnings and see them hit your bank account. You can see your current earnings in the top left corner of the app. When you click into your earnings you can also see stats like lifetime earnings, current earnings, and your transaction history. You can withdraw from your earnings on Ibotta by either connecting to your bank account, PayPal, or you can claim gift cards. Once you withdraw you will receive your earnings in 0-5 days. Note that if you have a brand-new account the account must be active for 7 days before being able to withdraw.
